Overview
First Impressions
When I first spotted Cozy 2-Bedroom Flat in Central West London, I’ll be honest — the name pretty much says it all. This four-star apartment sits on Uxbridge Road in Hammersmith, and while the street itself is busy, you know what? That’s actually part of its charm. The building looks like any other Victorian conversion you’d find in this part of London, but step inside and you get that immediate sense of “okay, someone’s actually thought about making this work for travelers.”
The Space That Works
Here’s the thing about this place — it’s genuinely cozy without feeling cramped. The two bedrooms are properly sized (not those shoebox affairs you sometimes get), and there’s enough space in the living area to actually relax after a day of sightseeing. The kitchen is well-equipped too, which matters when you’re staying more than a couple nights and want to grab groceries from the Tesco down the road instead of eating out every meal.
Location Reality Check
Hammersmith gets overlooked by tourists, but I think that’s a mistake. You’re actually really well-connected here — Hammersmith tube station is about a 10-minute walk, and from there central London is maybe 20 minutes away. Plus, you’ve got the river nearby, which means those lovely Thames Path walks that most visitors never discover. The neighborhood has that lived-in London feel without being touristy or overpriced.
What You’ll Actually Use
The WiFi works properly (tested it on video calls), there’s decent water pressure in the shower, and the heating responds when you adjust it — honestly, these basics matter more than fancy amenities when you’re staying somewhere. There’s parking available too, which in London is basically gold dust. The whole place feels like someone’s actual home rather than a sterile rental, if that makes sense.
Why It Makes Sense
Look, this isn’t going to wow you with marble bathrooms or concierge service, but that 7.8 rating reflects something important — it delivers what it promises. You get space, you get a proper London neighborhood experience, and you’re not paying Zone 1 prices for the privilege. I mean, you can walk to Shepherd’s Bush Market, catch a show at the Apollo, or just settle in with takeaway from one of the many solid curry houses nearby. It’s London living, just temporarily yours.

"Clean, spacious, central property. Equipped with the basics for a short stay."
Spacious and bright. Close to tube/ buses
What could be improved: Top floor flat so was very hot despite having 2 fans available.
Very little on road parking due to majority being permit holders only. Blinds would be good for the kitchen/lounge which would help block out direct sunlight.

Great set up for our stay, good location for what we were doing in London.
What could be improved: First impressions walking into the building weren’t great , but the apartment itself fine

"Good"
Apartment was clean and as it is true as the pictures. 7 minutes walk to tube Circle line or 15 minutes walk to Central Line.
What could be improved: Building and the entrance to the apartment was abit dodgy. There are other apartments in the building and sharing the same entrance. Maybe some renovations and clean up in the hall will help and another keys at main door will help to feel more safe.

"Excellent flat. Apart from the entrance into the flat, the flat itself is very functional"
Functional flat. Recently renovated so clean feel inside the flat itself. Also spacious and airy flat and the bathroom window opens and allows for good ventilation. Also on a high street which has many shops and close to Westfield mall so very good location for shoppers.
What could be improved: The entrance going upstairs to the flat (3rd floor) is a chore - the staircase is narrow and the carpet and walls are not clean. Carrying suitcases up and down is a nightmare.

"Non adatto a chi ha difficoltà a fare le scale"
L’appartamento è grande, con spazi ampi e luminoso. Pulitissimo e abbastanza vicino a tre linee della metro. Doccia enorme, letti comodi.

What could be improved: Les portes qui grincent 😩🤣ça réveillait notre petite fille de 2ans !

What could be improved: Rien

"Pleasant"
L’intérieur est bien aménagé et grand et moderne.
What could be improved: La propreté des parties communes, l’exiguïté des escaliers.
