Overview
First Impressions
When I first walked into Covent Garden 2 bed 2 bath duplex, I honestly wasn’t expecting much from what sounded like a pretty standard rental listing. But you know what? This four-star place completely surprised me. The duplex sits on Stukeley Street, which is one of those quiet Camden streets that feels worlds away from the tourist chaos, even though you’re literally minutes from everything.
The Space That Actually Works
The layout here is what sold me — having two proper bedrooms and two full bathrooms means you’re not doing that awkward dance around each other if you’re traveling with friends or family. Each room actually has decent space (not those shoebox London standards), and the duplex setup gives you this nice separation between the sleeping areas upstairs and the living space below. I mean, the kitchen isn’t huge, but it’s got everything you’d actually use, and there’s a proper dining table where you can spread out with maps or laptops.
Location Secrets
Here’s what the booking sites won’t tell you — this street puts you in this sweet spot where you can walk to Covent Garden’s main attractions in about eight minutes, but you’re also incredibly close to some of Camden’s better pubs and that amazing Borough Market cheese shop on Lamb’s Conduit Street. The Holborn tube station is closer than you’d think, and honestly, I found myself walking everywhere because London‘s theater district, British Museum, and even Oxford Street are all totally doable on foot.
The Details That Matter
What I really appreciated were the thoughtful touches — proper blackout curtains (crucial for those summer mornings when London daylight starts at 4 AM), decent water pressure in both showers, and WiFi that actually works when you need to video call home. The heating system took me a day to figure out, but once I did, the place stays properly warm. There’s no parking included, but honestly, you don’t want a car in this part of London anyway — the public transport connections are excellent.
Why Guests Love It
The 9.3 rating makes total sense once you’ve stayed here. It’s that rare London find where you get proper space, a real neighborhood feel, and you’re still central to everything that matters. The duplex works especially well for longer stays — I was there for five days and never felt cramped or like I was living out of a suitcase. Plus, there’s something satisfying about having your own little London townhouse experience without the insane hotel prices you’d pay for similar space in Covent Garden proper.

"Great Stay on Covent Garden Area"
The property has everything and is centrally located. The two beds are comfortable and the the first floor living space was extremely comfortable.
What could be improved: Not a big deal, but a very slow elevator.

"Excellent, professional apartment on a quiet street in the centre of London"
Clear and professional interactions - very clear instructions and easy to get into the property. The apartment is finished to a very high standard and in a quiet street very close to Holborn tube station. It was immaculately clean.
What could be improved: It was not a problem for us, worth noting that there are steep stairs in the apartment which would not be suitable for someone with limited mobility.

"Great location & nice apartment for London stay"
Great location. Clean. Washer for use. AC.
What could be improved: Could use a bed topper as the beds are stiff. Also, some seating on the roof would be nice in order to use it.

"Wonderful, comfortable & convenient location."
Great location, new and clean.
What could be improved: Would have been nice if there was a dryer but there is a clothes rack for clothes to be hung.

"Nothing to find fault with."
We were in London for the marathon, and decided on Covent Garden for logistics. Apartment was excellent, great location, with a wide choice of eateries in walking distance, along with shops.
Short walk to Charing Cross Station, for train direct to Greenwich, made start logistics easy.
Walking (hobbling) distance from finish line, again eased the day.
Apartment had everything needed, very well furnished, comfortable beds, towels and toiletries.
We will be back.

"Great quiet apartment"
It was a little further from Covent Garden than I thought but still great walking there. The street was quiet and the apartment was amazing and well stocked by host. The host messaged us to ensure the property was how we found it when we checked out. I wasn’t sure what was needed and felt a little stressed by it. One panel of the side ceiling dropped off and really traumatized us but the host was responsive and explained it was a new building. Great service and amazing amenities with coffee tea and tidbits. Very good provisions.

"Overall incredibly clean and comfortable and would recommend!"
We loved the location of the apartment! It is walking distance to many excellent restaurants which was much appreciated after several long days of sight seeing.
What could be improved: The en-suite bathroom was a bit small and we could have used extra towels because the open shower door made quite a mess.
