Overview

First Impressions

Cosy Flat In London is exactly what it says on the tin — though honestly, I wasn’t expecting much from the name. But stepping into this four-star gem on Sunnyside Road completely changed my perspective. The place has that perfect balance of homey comfort and polished style that’s surprisingly hard to find in London. You know what struck me first? The attention to detail — from the thoughtfully arranged furniture to the way natural light floods through the windows.

Location & Getting Around

Ealing might not be the first neighborhood tourists think of, but that’s actually what makes this spot brilliant. You’re in a proper residential area where locals go about their daily lives — there’s something refreshing about that after the tourist crowds of central London. The Tube connections are solid (Ealing Broadway is your friend), and I found myself in Zone 1 faster than expected. Plus, there’s decent parking around here if you’re driving, which is practically a miracle in this city.

The Space Itself

The apartment feels more like staying at a well-traveled friend’s place than a typical hotel. The kitchen is properly equipped — I mean, you can actually cook here, not just boil water for instant noodles. The living area has this lived-in quality that somehow manages to feel both cozy and sophisticated. Everything’s clean and modern, but it doesn’t have that sterile hotel chain vibe that makes you feel like you’re in a catalog.

Daily Life & Local Flavor

What I loved most was how easy it became to slip into a local rhythm. There’s a proper high street nearby with independent shops and cafes that actually serve decent coffee. The neighborhood has this village-y feel despite being in London — you’ll see the same faces at the corner shop, and people actually nod hello on the street. It’s the kind of place where you can grab fresh groceries and cook dinner in your own space, which honestly beats another hotel restaurant meal after a long day of sightseeing.

Why Guests Love It

The 9-star rating makes perfect sense once you’ve stayed here. It’s not trying to be flashy or impress you with marble lobbies — instead, it delivers on the fundamentals really well. You get your own space, your own routine, and the freedom to experience London like you actually live here for a few days. The value is excellent too, especially when you factor in being able to make your own meals and having a proper living room to spread out in. I’d definitely book this place again, and that’s saying something in a city with endless accommodation options.

"Cosy Corner Round Ealing Broadway"
Cosy nook at the corner of Ealing broadway. Love the homely feel, everything's just perfect for us. Compact enough for 3 adults or 2 adults with 1kid max.
What could be improved: Entrance and front of building may need some touch up compared to other houses along the street but flat (top floor) was lovely.

"Home away from home."
This was my second stay in the apartment. As before, everything was perfect. The location is great in a quiet residential street, yet close to all you need: shops, cafes, restaurants, transport. The flat is very comfortable and cozy offering a real homely feel.
What could be improved: Nothing.

"Cosy flat in London met all my expectations for a really great stay in London."
Great host; fantastic clean and modern flat with all amenities for a really comfortable stay in London; great location with easy and quick access to London Heathrow airport, and the centre of London; good places to relax and have a glass of wine or a pint, and many restaurants with a variety of cuisines to choose from.
What could be improved: All was good for me.

"An excellent place to stay in London-the comforts of home with the nearby excitement of the city!"
Wow! The flat is in an excellent location, close to two different Underground stations. It's an easy ride to London, and the flat is in excellent condition. We cooked, watched tv, and did laundry like we were at home, but the sights and sounds of London were just a short train ride away!
What could be improved: Nothing.

"Fantastic place, well furnished and excellent location! Host was superb and great communication!"
Super easy and straight forward! No confusion and well explained :).
What could be improved: Nothing at all! Just missing soap from the hand soap dispenser in the bathroom but we didn't care! We just pinched the one from the kitchen instead & popped it back after :).

"Exceptional"
I had a wonderful stay at this property. The location is fantastic, great host, offering a perfect blend of convenience and charm. I stayed for just under two weeks, and the accommodation was very comfortable. Having access to kitchen and laundry facilities was a great bonus. It’s only a ten-minute walk to Ealing Broadway, and with the new Elizabeth Line, you can be in central London in just 15 minutes. I will definitely consider staying here again when I am in town.
What could be improved: I cannot fault.

"Excellent little flat, great place to stay when in London."
Lovely quiet spot and only 10 minutes to transport links at Ealing Broadway. Very comfortable bed and all the facilities you need for a short stay. Much more practical than a hotel room.
What could be improved: Nothing.

"Clean apartment with good facilities"
Clean, well-equipped, with nice linen and a washing machine.
What could be improved: Unfortunately we were there during a heat wave, and like most buildings in London not designed for the heat, the flat was very hot and hard to cool down even with the door and all windows open as wide as they would go and fan on full. We did better on the third night after using a sarong during the day to block the skylight. A blind for the skylight and a second fan would help.

"Truly cosy place to stay in London."
Very good location in a quiet neighborhood in Ealing with short distance to the station, shops and restaurants. The flat itself is truly cosy, comfortable, well equipped. The owner is easily accessible in case of emergency. All instructions are clear.
What could be improved: The soundproofing isn't great but it's simply a nature of those old buildings.
