Overview
First Impressions
Cosy 2-Bedroom Flat in Finsbury Park, Modern, Convenient & Close to Central London! — yeah, I know the name’s a bit of a mouthful, but it actually delivers on that promise. This three-star apartment sits on a quiet stretch of Biggerstaff Street in what’s technically Islington but feels very much like proper Finsbury Park territory. The building itself is one of those modern developments that doesn’t try too hard to be flashy, which I honestly appreciate.
The Space
Inside, you’re looking at a genuinely well-thought-out layout that feels bigger than you’d expect. The kitchen is properly equipped — I mean, there’s actually counter space to work with, which is rare in London rentals. Both bedrooms are decent-sized, and the main one gets lovely morning light. The furnishings are that modern-but-comfortable style that works well for a few nights or even a longer stay.
Location & Getting Around
Here’s where this place really shines, honestly. Finsbury Park station is about a seven-minute walk, and that’s your gateway to both the Piccadilly and Victoria lines — you know what that means? You can be in central London in twenty minutes, easy. But what I really love is the neighborhood itself. There’s a proper local feel here, with Arsenal Emirates Stadium just a short bus ride away if you’re into football.
The Neighborhood Experience
The area around Biggerstaff Street has this nice mix of residential quiet and actual things to do. Finsbury Park itself — the actual park — is perfect for morning runs or just sitting with a coffee. You’ve got decent pubs within walking distance, and the shopping on Seven Sisters Road covers all your basics. It’s one of those spots where you feel like you’re living in London rather than just visiting it.
Why Guests Love It
With an 8.2 rating, this place clearly hits the mark for most people, and I can see why. It’s that sweet spot of being genuinely homey without feeling like someone’s cramped spare room. You get the space and independence of having your own place, but with the transport links that make exploring London actually doable. Plus, let’s be honest — two bedrooms means you can split costs with friends or family, which makes a real difference in this city.
Savvy travelers reserve a hotel in London before spring brings blossom-lined parks, pop-up exhibitions, and warm evening strolls.

"If more attention were paid to cleanliness it would be an excellent option for longer stays"
The apartment is large enough for what we needed - we were 4 adults. Although all the wardrobes in the bedrooms are full of bed sheets, blankets, linens and towels, you have some dressers with drawers, and on the hallway there is a hanging rack.
The access instructions are very clear, but they are sent only at the time of check-in (the address provided on booking is not the right one, just wait for the instructions and you will find out everything).
Communication with the host was ok, he answered quickly to all my requests.
Location is very good, 5 min to the Tube, Piccadilly and Elizabeth lines are arriving there, 5 min to the train station, close to the park, many restaurants/pubs and groceries option (toilet paper, soap and some disposable things for the kitchen were provided - for anything else you can just quickly go shopping).
What could be improved: More attention to cleanliness should be paid - especially in the kitchen. It's not that it was so dirty that you feel sick, but it wasnt necessarily clean. However, we disinfected everything and used the bare minimum. It's a shame, because the kitchen has absolutely everything that one might need for a stay.
The bathroom is indeed worn out, but it was clean enough, and there are a lot of cleaning products. The towels however could use a refresh.

"Comfortable Flat with nearby underground station"
The flat was easy to found, the next underground station is just a small walk away. There is a great burger restaurant nearby and a market if you need something else. The beds are very conformable, the living room is small but good for 4 people to make a fast break for meal.
What could be improved: Nothing

"Brilliant location"
Very comfy bed and bedding. Clean, modern place with all necessities. Absolutely brilliant location close to shops and public transport. Strongly recommend 👌for group of 4. Very quick communication with the owner.
What could be improved: No hot water but it was going to be fixed the following day. OK as we stayed only 1 night.

"Very good"
We liked that was very quiet, in a residential safe neighborhood but close to great pubs, we had the chance to discover a great neighborhood.
The apartment is really nice, old building but new furniture . Usb charger for phone
What could be improved: I know this is the double bad standard in UK, but for us it was very small. Light in the room all night because there was a night light in the hallway and in the morning because the curtains are thin

"Very good"
The flat was warm, cosy, quiet, comfortable and spacious.
What could be improved: It was difficult to find the correct entrance as there was not sufficient instructions, but once we found it, left doorway opposite the bins, access was easy

"Very good"
The flat was in a good location, a good size and clean. It was perfect for what we needed. The host accommodated a late check in time and answered their phone late on (around 11pm).
What could be improved: It was advertised as having street parking, priced at approx £10 a day. However there was no spots whatsoever and we had to buy someone’s parking spot 5 min walk away for £60 (the Friday night until Sunday morning). This would have been fine had alternative parking spots been advertised, as it became clear that parking spots are almost impossible to find in this location.

"Matched the price."
Really nice apartment, three minutes walk to Finsbury park station
What could be improved: It was quite hard to find the key and get to the building, but after long phone call with the owner, everything went well.
The dishes and kitchen utensils would like to be replaced.
The area around the house looks quite dangerous, especially at late night hours, be carefull.
