Cosy 3 Bedroom Apartment Near The O2
First Impressions
When I first walked up to Cosy 3 Bedroom Apartment Near The O2 on Orlop Street, I’ll be honest — the name pretty much tells you everything you need to know. This four-star apartment sits in a quiet residential stretch of Greenwich, and you can actually see the massive dome of The O2 from some of the windows. The building itself is nothing fancy, but that’s kind of the point — it feels like staying in a proper London neighborhood rather than some touristy bubble.
The Space Itself
The apartment is genuinely spacious by London standards, which caught me off guard. Three proper bedrooms mean you’re not playing musical beds if you’re traveling with family or friends, and the living area actually has enough seating for everyone. The kitchen is fully kitted out — I mean, they’ve got everything from a proper oven to a dishwasher, which is brilliant if you want to grab groceries from the Sainsbury’s down the road instead of eating out every meal.
Location and Getting Around
Here’s what I really appreciated about staying here — you’re close enough to The O2 that you could walk there in about ten minutes, but far enough away that you’re not dealing with the crowds and inflated prices right around the venue. The Cutty Sark DLR station is maybe a fifteen-minute walk, and honestly, that DLR connection makes getting into central London surprisingly painless. Plus, you’re right in Greenwich, so the Royal Observatory and Greenwich Park are basically on your doorstep.
What Works Well
The apartment feels lived-in rather than sterile — there are proper curtains instead of those awful hotel blackout blinds, and the furniture is comfortable enough that you’ll actually want to hang out in the living room in the evenings. Each bedroom has decent storage space, which sounds boring but becomes crucial when you’re unpacking for more than just a night or two. The WiFi is solid, and there’s even parking available, which in London is practically a miracle.
Why Guests Love It
What really sets this place apart is that it gives you a proper base rather than just somewhere to sleep. You can spread out, cook your own breakfast, and actually feel like you’re living in London for a bit rather than just visiting. The O2 connection is obviously great if you’re catching a show, but even if you’re not, Greenwich itself is one of those London areas that feels manageable and walkable. I found myself popping back to the apartment during the day just because it was comfortable — and honestly, how often can you say that about most places you stay in London?
