The location is actually brilliant if you want to experience real London energy. Camden Market is practically on your doorstep, which means you’ll be dodging tourists during the day but discovering some genuinely cool spots once the crowds thin out. The Tube station is a quick walk, and you know what? Late-night food options are everywhere — proper lifesaver after a long day exploring.
The Accommodations
Here’s the thing about the rooms and apartments — they’re basic but functional. I stayed in one of their apartment units, and while it won’t win any design awards, it had everything I actually needed. The kitchen was compact but worked fine for making coffee and storing leftovers from Borough Market. Some units are more like traditional hotel room setups, so you’ll want to check what you’re booking.
Practical Considerations
Let me be honest — this isn’t a place where you’ll get daily housekeeping or fancy amenities. What you will get is a clean bed, decent WiFi, and staff who know the area well enough to point you toward the good curry houses (trust me, avoid the touristy ones near the lock). The building itself shows its age, but it’s well-maintained where it counts.

"Excellent Stay"
The property location is excellent
What could be improved: Had to climb stairs with my little children. We were given the 4th floor. Just imaging the stress with our luggage and our baggage.

"Very good location and good value for money, very clean accomodation with lovely staff."
Location. Just 2 minute walk from metro, surrounded with shops and restaurants. Place is very clean, lovely management, I like the kitchenette. I will definitely be back.
What could be improved: Shared bathroom, and the place is in a very busy location, so it can be noisy esp. at night but it didn’t bother me as I slept really well. Quite hot weather and 1 fan is not enough.

"Clean comfortable Camden room"
Great location a short walk from Camden Town Tube, the room was very clean and comfortable. I stayed in a 4 single bed-room with shared bathroom between 4 rooms which had a fridge freezer, washing machine etc in the kitchenette and a dining table in the room as well as the beds. It was on the 5th floor so very warm in the room but some nice views. No windows that could open but you could use the balcony.
What could be improved: Room was very warm and there wasn't really any good way to cool it down or keep it cool. It wasn't an issue for me but some of the rooms are up a lot of stairs and it's not a building with space for a lift so keep that in mind while booking that it might not be suitable for everyone.

"Great central location if you need something close to Camden tube station."
The location was extremely convenient. The room and bathroom were clean. It had everything I needed for a one night stay.
What could be improved: No kitchen/coffee facilities. Other guests came in at three in the morning, they were very loud and stomped around for about 40 minutes before going to bed.

"Good value for money, great location, quiet restful sleep."
Instructions weren't clear as couldn't find the location. But thankfully had a mobile number to call that was answered quickly and that person met me at a central location within a minute of where accommodation was. There was a misunderstanding of expectations for check in, even though I messaged twice and got confirmation all was good. But I got in with clear instructions from available manager who was friendly and helpful.
What could be improved: Check in process needs to be better.

"Good"
Location, cleanliness, and room was pretty great
What could be improved: Shared bathroom but this wasn’t a problem during my stay, the shower also wasn’t fitted correctly so had to hold the shower hose to have a shower but this was a minor inconvenience.
