Overview
First Impressions
Walking up to Charming 2 Bedroom Apartment in Kentish Town, you’ll find yourself on a quiet residential street that feels properly North London — tree-lined, unhurried, with that mix of Victorian terraces and converted flats that makes this part of Camden so appealing. The building itself is unassuming in the best way, and honestly, that’s exactly what you want when you’re looking for a proper local experience rather than tourist central.
The Space
This four-star apartment genuinely lives up to its name — there’s something endearing about how the two bedrooms are laid out, with enough space that you’re not tripping over each other but cozy enough that it feels like a real home. The kitchen is actually functional (I mean, you can cook a proper meal here), and the living area has this lived-in quality that vacation rentals often lack. You know what I particularly appreciated? The windows let in loads of natural light, which makes the whole place feel bigger than it probably is.
Location Perks
Kentish Town gets overlooked by tourists, but that’s actually brilliant for you. You’re a quick walk from Kentish Town station — the Northern Line will get you to central London in about 15 minutes, but more importantly, you’re in a neighborhood where people actually live and work. There’s a proper high street with independent shops, decent pubs that aren’t packed with stag dos, and you can grab groceries without feeling like you’re paying tourist prices.
Local Knowledge
The Forum is literally around the corner if you’re into live music, and Parliament Hill’s just a pleasant stroll away when you need some green space and those Instagram-worthy views over the city. What I really love about this area is how it connects — you can walk to Camden Market if you must, but you’re also perfectly positioned for Hampstead Heath or even a wander down to King’s Cross when you want to feel like you’re in modern London.
Why Guests Love It
Look, if you want marble bathrooms and a concierge, this isn’t your place. But if you want to feel like you’re staying in someone’s well-cared-for home in a genuinely nice part of London — somewhere you could imagine actually living — then this works beautifully. The 8.2 rating makes sense when you consider you’re getting authentic London life rather than a hotel experience, and Prince of Wales Road gives you that perfect balance of residential calm with easy access to everything that matters.
Exploring London blends royal heritage, UNESCO landmarks, and vibrant neighborhoods glowing with golden-hour light.

"Great location, clean and well equipped, great shower , comfy beds. Would recommend"
Great location , great shower , comfy beds, nice and warm , easy to access
What could be improved: Furniture could do with re looking at, no TV, filing cabinet and little desk etc in living room. Could be better layout of furniture, but that’s being very picky .
Also people above were really quite nosey in the mornings, small children , furniture moving .

"This apartment was a wonderful place for a family break in London. Very close to public transport and walking distance t"
The location was great and the apartment had a great London feel. It was actually better than the pictures. It was warm and light.
What could be improved: We would not like to make any complaint but the only thing that could have made things a little better would be some dishwashing tablets and better cleaning products - cloths etc. this is just to ensure that we could leave all the surfaces clean and easily wash dishes.

"Superb"
The flat was clean and cozy, comfortable beds. Next door is a very nice café and the grocery store is not far away. The underground station Chalk Farm is 10 min walk away. Very nice and a friendly neighbourhood.

"Good location - tidy and comfortable. Worked really well for our stay in London."
Great location. This worked well for our stay in London. The unit was tidy and well appointed.
What could be improved: There was a slight musty smell when we arrived. Opening the window for ventilation sorted this. We found the lock box a bit tricky. It would have been good to have a top sheet on the bed as it got a bit hot at night and the duvet was all or nothing. The only way to ventilate the bedroom is to open the door to outside. The owner did offer to reimburse us for a top sheet if we got one, which was helpful - but we were busy and didn't get to this.

"Comfortable and well located in Camden"
Well located and comfortable beds. Host always responsive and flexible with the checkout time. There was some coffee, tea, and sugar.
What could be improved: The apartment is in a basement and therefore a bit dark and humid. The induction stove did not work, the hot water knob was stuck and thus the shower was uncomfortably too hot. There was no hand soap in the WC.

"Good apartment, but loud neighbors and need to over communicate about facilities / ammenities needed"
Beds were comfy and location was good. A cute little ground unit.
What could be improved: Even after explicitly confirming that we would need the sofa bed the day of, it was not prepared when we arrived, so be sure to give plenty of notice if you plan to use it. The upstairs neighbors were also very noisy, sounded like they were moving all the furniture around most mornings. Hand / paper towels for bathroom and kitchen also would have been appreciated.
