Overview
First Impressions
Walking up to Central London 3 BDR Home Steps from Kings Cross and St Pancras on Muriel Street, you immediately get that feeling of stumbling onto something special. This unique boutique hotel without official star rating sits right in the heart of Islington, and honestly, the location couldn’t be better if you tried. The building itself has that classic London townhouse charm — you know, the kind that makes you feel like you’re staying in someone’s actual home rather than a generic hotel chain.
The Space
What really sets this place apart is how they’ve managed to create genuine apartment-style accommodations that actually feel livable. Each unit comes with a proper kitchen, which is brilliant if you’re planning to stay more than a couple nights or just want the option to make your morning coffee exactly how you like it. The rooms are spacious by London standards — and I mean that in the best way possible, because anyone who’s tried to navigate a tiny hotel room in central London knows what a relief that is.
Location Genius
Here’s what I love about the location — you’re literally steps from both Kings Cross and St Pancras stations, which means the entire city opens up to you. But it’s not just about the transport links (though they’re incredible). The surrounding Islington area has this perfect mix of local pubs, independent coffee shops, and that authentic London neighborhood feel that tourists usually miss. You can actually walk to Camden Market in about fifteen minutes if you’re up for it.
The Neighborhood Experience
Muriel Street itself is one of those quiet residential roads where you’ll see actual Londoners going about their daily lives. There’s a brilliant little corner shop nearby, and the Angel tube station is close enough that you’ve got backup transport options. What really struck me is how this area manages to feel properly local while still being incredibly well-connected — you’re not stuck in some tourist bubble, but you’re also not stranded somewhere inconvenient.
Why Guests Love It
The 7.9 rating makes perfect sense once you’ve stayed here. It’s that sweet spot where you get genuine value without any pretentious nonsense — just a well-thought-out place to stay that serves its purpose beautifully. The three-bedroom setup works brilliantly for families or groups who want their own space but don’t want to sacrifice location. And there’s something refreshing about a place that doesn’t try to oversell itself with fancy star ratings but simply delivers on what matters most: comfort, location, and that sense of actually experiencing London rather than just visiting it.

"Beds were comfortable, everywhere was clean"
Very clean and had everything we need

"Adequate for our needs albeit a bit pricey for a 2 night stay."
Location was good, however the walk from Kings Cross with luggage was not very good. The paths and walkways leading to the accommodation are very uneven and not suitable for people with any type of mobility problems.
The accommodation was in general good repair although some areas could do with paint touch ups.
What could be improved: The caretaker of the block came to the door and suggested we had left rubbish in a stair well which was inaccurate. The neighbours had told him it was likely to have been us as the accommodation is used as an Air B & B.
The caretaker felt the need to tell us where the dustbins were kept and suggested we take our rubbish there!

"Nice little well kept place in a great location for Kings Cross and Business Design Centre"
Ideally located for what we wanted. Neighbourhood doesn't feel fantastic but didn't see any actual issues. Everything within was well kept and clean.
What could be improved: The block the unit is in doesn't look brilliant but that goes with the price. (Reserve judgement until you're inside!)

"Good"
The property was clean and light
What could be improved: the area, the mould all over bathroom ceiling and no spare bedding for sofa bed

"Great location and place to stay"
Spacious light bedrooms and well equipped kitchen and bathroom. Well located and good communication from the hosts.
What could be improved: No real criticisms - might be helpful if the booking details mentioned that the bathroom and two bedrooms are upstairs

"3 nights stay in London city"
The bedrooms, kitchen facilities, white goods, quick response from the property owner/handler.
Clear instructions before check in.
The unit is on the 1st floor. We got lucky.
The photos reflected the actual property.
I will stay here again in the future.
What could be improved: The bidet was helpful, but the dispenser was faulty.
Despite the faulty lift, it was back in service within the following day, and the smell in the lift and along staircase was unpleasant.
Occasional noises from drunkards talking in front of the apartment.
The stand fan holder was broken, but the fan was still working.

"The location was excellent for us. We were granted an early check in which was much appreciated."
Great location
What could be improved: There was a damaged blind in one of the bedrooms that was hanging, we left it in situ.
There was also a coffee pod left in the coffee machine which we had to clean before using. Otherwise we had a pleasant stay

"Could be bettet"
It worked for our needs, but it was a place to crash
What could be improved: Mold/mildew on the bathroom ceiling needs sorting seriously. Extraction fan wasn't running.
Bin bags required.
Tea towels and hand towels would also be useful.
Rubber runner under the shower screen is needed to stop the bathroom floor getting wet

"Passable"
Great location and easy access to the Tube and international railway at St Pancras
What could be improved: Wasn’t clean, the floors were not cleaned and the rooms were dusty. Bidet was broken and the fridge seal was leaking so there was condensation constantly forming and pooling in the bottom of the fridge.
