Overview
First Impressions
When I first climbed up to the Bright & Spacious Top Floor Apartment in Chelsea, honestly, I wasn’t prepared for just how much light would flood through those windows. This three-star apartment sits at the top of a Victorian conversion, and you know what — those high ceilings and period features really make a difference. The climb up is worth it, especially when you realize you’re getting your own private space in one of London’s most coveted neighborhoods.
The Chelsea Advantage
Being in Kensington and Chelsea means you’re actually walking distance from both the King’s Road buzz and the quieter garden squares that locals love. I mean, you can grab morning coffee on Sloane Street, then wander through the Chelsea Physic Garden — something most tourists completely miss. The area feels residential but never boring, and there’s this nice mix of proper pubs and places where you might spot someone famous picking up groceries.
Living Space & Comfort
The room layout works really well for longer stays — there’s proper space to spread out, not like those cramped hotel rooms where your suitcase becomes furniture. The kitchen setup lets you actually cook if you want to (which I did, after discovering Borough Market was just a short tube ride away). What struck me most was how quiet it gets at night, despite being in central London — something about being on the top floor just insulates you from street noise.
Getting Around
South Kensington tube is your friend here — seriously, it’s close enough that you don’t think twice about hopping on the Piccadilly line. You’ll find yourself walking to places you’d normally take transport to, which is actually pretty nice. The neighborhood has this village-y feel once you know where the local spots are, though I should mention that everything comes with London prices attached.
Why Guests Love It
This place works because it gives you a proper London experience without feeling touristy. You get your own front door key, space to actually live a bit, and you’re staying in an area where real Londoners choose to live (well, the ones who can afford it). It’s not flashy or trying to be something it isn’t — just a solid, comfortable base that happens to be in one of the city’s best postcodes.

"Good stay good property comfortable and the host was polite and easy to reach. Quick response and very helpful. I would"
The property was very good. It was clean and a good size. The location was good close to all shops, food and travel etc.
What could be improved: The stairs could do with a bit of a clean. First thing you see when you walk in but nonetheless wasn’t the lasting impression.

"Good flat within easy reach of South Kensington."
Kitchen and bedroom size was good
What could be improved: Confusion with collecting keys. Communal areas leading to flat was untidy and scruffy.

"Fantastic value for money"
Clean, crisp bedding and fluffy towels. Comfortable sofa and bed. Excellent bathroom. Great location for Chelsea Flower Show.
What could be improved: Unable to find a tea towel.
The staircase needed cleaning which created a poor first impression.

"Attractive apartment but a little disapointment easily rectified"
Well equipped, modern and bed comfort/appearence really lovely. Effort was clearly put in here. Agents were great and contactable at all times.
What could be improved: First impressions clean but kitchen sink badly stained (at a guess from tea stains), and a lot. Teaspoons missing which guessed wasn't agents fault but realised that there was really thick dust under the sofa also behind it just before leaving (clearly built up over 1-2 years)! This explained a health issue i had which got worse in the evenings as started itching, sneezing, coughing and wheezing (in lounge area), but got better soon after leaving. The cleaner clearly does a minimum job - maybe time does not allow?....

"Good"
What could be improved: We wanted to check in early because our flight landed early in the morning, and ever though no other guests were in the property before us, we couldn't check in early, except if we paid 15pounds per hour extra, which was quite excessive for us. We had to sit outside on the steps for hours and wait for 3pm to check in.

"Not to bad but not fantastic bit disappointed as location was perfect"
Warm and comfy
What could be improved: Over 40 minutes wait for keys. Not one toilet roll on arrival after waiting and travelling all that time in the cold. Shower screen leaked water from middle of join. Hot water not hot enough for a bath. Tumble drier did not work No heat and smelt. And hallway outside of apartment doesn't look like it had been hoovered since the day the carpet went down. But apart from that it was OK
