First Impressions
BnBNova – Soho & Fitzrovia with Balcony sits right on Goodge Street, and honestly, the location hit me before anything else. You’re basically planted between two of London‘s most vibrant neighborhoods — I mean, you can walk to Oxford Street in about three minutes, but you’re tucked away enough that it doesn’t feel touristy. The building itself has that classic London townhouse charm, though it’s been smartly converted into modern apartments.
The Space
This four-star apartment feels way more spacious than most London accommodations I’ve stayed in. The kitchen actually works — and I say that because so many short-term rentals give you a glorified tea station. Here, you’ve got proper appliances, decent counter space, and everything you need if you want to skip the £15 breakfast routine. The room setup flows naturally, with large windows that let in more light than you’d expect for central London.
That Balcony Though
Look, London balconies are rare — especially ones you can actually use. This one’s not huge, but it’s perfect for morning coffee or evening wine (there’s a Tesco Metro literally around the corner for supplies). You get a slice of London rooftops and chimney pots, plus you can people-watch the Goodge Street crowd below. It’s one of those details that transforms the whole experience from just staying somewhere to actually living in London for a few days.
Location Perks
Goodge Street tube station is maybe a two-minute walk — seriously convenient for getting anywhere in the city. But what I really appreciate is being on the edge of Fitzrovia, which has this great mix of independent cafes and pubs that locals actually use. Rathbone Place and Charlotte Street are right there with some fantastic restaurant options, and you’re close enough to Soho’s energy without the constant crowds outside your door. The British Museum is walkable too, which surprised me.
Why Guests Love It
The 10-point rating makes complete sense once you’re there. It’s that rare combination of proper space, smart location, and thoughtful touches — like having decent Wi-Fi, blackout curtains that actually work, and enough parking nearby if you’re brave enough to drive in London. The host clearly knows what travelers need, and there’s something refreshing about having your own front door key instead of dealing with hotel reception. You feel like you’re staying in London rather than just visiting it.
