Fitzrovia is sort of this perfect middle ground between the media buzz of Charlotte Street and the academic calm around UCL. You know what’s great? You can actually walk to the British Museum in about ten minutes, and there’s this little stretch of independent cafés along Tottenham Court Road that locals use as their morning routine.

"Very good"
Location was great. Very close to the British Museum, lots of restaurants, traditional British pubs and high street shops and close to Goodge St tube (Northern line which goes to Waterloo or King's Cross / St Pancras for connection to airports, and the rest of the UK). It was opposite a food store, perfect for picking up groceries to prepare meals in the little kitchenette. Although on a busy road the bedroom was at the back of the property and there was no noise at all with the bedroom and living room doors shut. The owner was very responsive to messages when I had problems with the accommodation.
What could be improved: Unfortunately I had difficulties connecting to the WiFi which made work difficult in the evening but this was resolved by the 2nd night of my stay. It was a bit of a pain walking down the road to collect keys but this did allow flexibility in the checkin time. It may have been more difficult if I had more luggage (i had one small suitcase only). I also hadn't realised (booking in a rush) that quite a few extras were added on top of the advertised room rates (£80 cleaning for a 2 night stay and £70 'other' expense) which made the room much more pricey than I had intended when I initially clicked to reserve. This is clearly my fault but just to beware of these extras before you reserve.

"Perfct. Would stay again"
The apartment distribution is perfect, with the room facing a quiet patio abd the living room the Main Street. Location is extraordinary. Love the area for its convenience and also hipster vibes.
What could be improved: Overall was perfect and the management very attentive. Unfortunately hot water boiler had issues and was far from ideal. Otherwise, I would suggest to use curtains in the main room to avoid the excess light coming in the morning.

"Great location and well priced for London."
Location was great. We walked most places and tube stop was around the corner. Plenty of shopping and food nearby.
What could be improved: Sleeping on a fold out couch is a pain but understandable. Entry corridor was very mouldy.

"Reasonable property, I would recommend it if it wasn't for the issue with the deposit."
The direction given was accurately given. You collect the key from a location near the property. The property is centrally located, and very convenient to multiple locations and transport link. Overall the property is a nice stay for someone wanting to stay relatively central in London. Just be aware that a deposit is required and I had issue with retrieving it initially. Had this not been an issue I would have recommended the location.
What could be improved: The Property operator asked for 600 Euros of deposit in addition to the payment for the stay, which I was not aware of before booking. The deposit was held for more than 14 days and not returned despite multiple text messaging. I left a bad review and reported the operator to Booking.com and got deposit back within 1 day. It could be misunderstanding or challenges at the operator side, but some communication would have been good.

The location of this property was excellent! M&S and Tesco were right next door, and there were plenty of cafes and restaurants nearby. The online check-in and check-out instructions were clear, so everything went smoothly.
What could be improved: It was a bit difficult to carry my luggage into the accommodation through the narrow corridor, as there was no lift.

Le logement est très bien situé, avec une station de métro à 4 minutes à pied. Il y a de nombreux restaurants et supermarchés à proximité. L'appartement est spacieux, propre et bien équipé. Le self-check-in est très pratique. Le quartier semble sûr pour les familles.

La proximité d’une rame de métro , l’emplacement .
What could be improved: Problème d’eau chaude dans la douche Escalier très peu large et raide , la difficulté de passage avec une valise . La Propreté du logement n’est vraiment pas correct , les serviettes sentent mauvais , le sol est mal aspiré et mal lavé , les joints de carreaux dans la douche sont sale ainsi que les plinthes et des traces brunes sont présente au murs de la chambre. Les Portes d’entrée du bâtiment et du logement ne ferme pas pas clés , elle ce claque et ne peuvent s’ouvrir de l’autre côté mais aucune sécurité supplémentaire du barillet n’est possible. La petite fenêtre de la chambre ne ce ferme pas à clés et la sécurité de la fenêtre de gauche du salon n’est plus en place. Le store de la fenêtre de la chambre fonctionne très mal et est à la limite de tomber , nous avons du le laisser fermé tous le séjours de peur qu’il ne tombe. Les Horaires de récupération des clés sont très strict , nous sommes arrivé 20 minutes en avance et nous a demandé d’attendre dehors , je comprend et je respect car cela est indiqué mais je trouve ça d’une nullité extrême. L’escalier dans le couloir et le couloir sont très mal isolé phoniquement, on entend tout.
