Honestly, when I first stumbled upon BnBNova – Fitzrovia & Soho – 2BR with Balcony, I wasn’t sure what to expect from a four-star apartment rental in this part of London. But walking up to the building on a quiet Camden street, just a stone’s throw from the Fitzrovia buzz, I was pleasantly surprised by how tucked away yet accessible it felt. The entrance has that classic London townhouse charm — nothing flashy, but you know you’re in the right place.
The Space Itself
The two-bedroom setup actually works really well for small groups or families who want more space than your typical hotel room. What caught my attention immediately was how the kitchen area flows into the living space — it’s not cramped like some London rentals can be. The balcony might not offer sweeping city views, but honestly, having any outdoor space in central London feels like a win. You can have your morning coffee out there and watch the neighborhood come alive.
Location Magic
Here’s what I love about this spot — you’re literally between two of London’s most interesting areas. Fitzrovia gives you that sophisticated, slightly artsy vibe with independent galleries and proper gastropubs, while Soho is right there when you want the energy and late-night options. The Goodge Street and Warren Street tubes are both walkable, which means you’re never really stuck for transport options. I mean, you could walk to the British Museum in about ten minutes if you’re feeling ambitious.
Neighborhood Feel
What strikes me about this area is how it manages to feel both central and residential. During the day, you’ve got office workers grabbing lunch from the Charlotte Street restaurant scene, but evenings get quieter — perfect for actually getting some rest. The local Tesco Express is closer than you’d think, and there’s a decent coffee shop on practically every corner. It’s the kind of area where you start to feel like a temporary local rather than just another tourist.
Why Guests Love It
The 8.1 rating makes sense once you spend a night or two here. It’s not trying to be the fanciest place in London, but it delivers on what matters most — space, location, and that feeling of having your own little London base. The balcony becomes more valuable than you’d expect, especially if you’re traveling with kids who need somewhere to burn off energy, or if you just want to decompress without heading to a crowded pub. Plus, having parking options nearby (though you probably won’t need a car) takes one worry off the list for those driving in from outside the city.

"Prime Location, Mixed Experience"
Excellent location
What could be improved: • Access: The apartment is on an upper floor with very narrow stairs and no lift. Moving heavy luggage up and down was extremely challenging.
• Cleanliness: There was noticeable mold in common areas and a persistent mold smell in parts of the apartment, which impacted comfort.
• Deposit Handling: The refundable deposit (€800) was eventually returned, but the process was far from smooth. Although the host indicated a quick inspection and confirmation after checkout, it took 11 days and five follow-up messages to receive confirmation that everything was in order. The actual refund was processed after two weeks.
• Communication & Support: This was the most significant concern.
1. Door Lock: Unlocking the apartment door took 30–45 minutes due to a faulty lock. Despite repeated attempts to reach the host, assistance was limited to messaging and video links, which did not resolve the issue promptly.
2. Mold Issue: After reporting mold, we were asked to send multiple photos, but no proactive steps or direct communication followed.
3. Heating: The apartment remained cold despite following all provided instructions. When we requested on-site assistance, the host warned of a potential charge if the issue was deemed our fault. Eventually, a handyman entered the apartment without prior notice or consent, set the thermostat to 30°C, and left. This raised serious concerns about privacy and safety. Furthermore, a £72 fee was charged for this visit, even though the underlying problem persisted and was never properly resolved.
Overall, while the location was excellent, the combination of maintenance issues, lack of timely support, and unauthorised entrance affected the experience. Clearer communication, faster resolution of reported problems, and respect for guest privacy would greatly improve future stays.

What could be improved: Smale trapper opp( tre lange trapper) og tungt å bære opp kofferter.
Veldig høgt depositum å betale ! -som det tar langt tid å få tilbake :-(

"Pen leilighet med sentral beliggenhet"
Beliggenheten er ekstremt sentral og leiligheten er pent innrettet. Det er et supermarked rett over gaten, og mange fine restauranter i nærheten.
What could be improved: Det var mye bråk på gaten om natten og en byggeplass i bakgården. Det var enkelte ting som var ødelagt i leiligheten (baderomsarmatur, rullegardiner). Trappen opptil leiligheten er meget smal - vanskelig med bagasje. Hele kausjonen for leiligheten ble trukket fra mitt kredittkort i forkant av oppholdet (ikke bare blokkert), og det tok over tre uker og flere purringer å få beløpet tilbakebetalt. Jeg mistet en del penger på grunn av valutasvingninger i mellomtiden.

"Very good"
Die Lage des Apartments ist super. Sehr unkompliziert beim Schlüssel abholen, wir wurden gut über Booking/Whatsapp informiert und alles hat super funktioniert. Es hat ein paar Treppenstufen bis man im oberen Stockwerk ist, wenn man gut zu Fuss ist aber kein Problem🙂. Wir waren 4 Erwachsene und 2 Jugendliche. 2 DZ und 2 Bäder waren perfekt. Die Matratze des Bettsofas (im obersten Stock) ist sehr dünn, könnte besser sein, aber für 4 Nächte für unsere Kids war es ok. Küche super, alles vorhanden um mit 6 Pers.zu Frühstücken. Tesco Supermarkt direkt gegenüber, besser gehts nicht😀 Kaffeemaschine (Kaffeekapseln Nescafe Dolce Gusto). Wir würden das Apartment jederzeit wieder buchen👍
What could be improved: Die Böden und Ecken im Bad könnten besser geputzt werden, ansonsten alles super.

Práctico y cómodo. Completo para cubrir todas las necesidades.
What could be improved: Ruido de la calle, tener las ventanas abiertas o cerradas era lo mismo. Las camas podrían ser más anchas. Tener que pagar una fianza tan cara que no devuelven hasta dos semanas más tarde

"Appartamento accogliente e con una bella atmosfera"
Appartamento adorabile in ottime condizioni – moderno, ordinato e ben attrezzato. Le istruzioni per il self check-in erano chiare e hanno reso l'arrivo senza stress. Il Wi-Fi era potente e l'acqua calda non è mai mancata. Prenoterei sicuramente di nuovo! Grazie all’host per la sua disponibilità e rapidità nelle risposte.

"Sinceramente non ci ritornerei"
L’appartamento è in una buona posizione a ca 10/15 min da oxford street e con metro vicinissima
Appartamento con arredamento moderno molto carino
What could be improved: Entrando nel portone si sentiva un’odore sgradevole di umidità e muffa che arrivava sino al terzo piano (nostro appartamento). Le scale un po’ difficoltose molto strette con le valigie non facile portale su.
L’appartamento aveva alcune cose da aggiustare (es tavolette del water di entrambi i bagni) e il divano letto non era stato ne pulito (materasso sporco) ne pronto per l’utilizzo. Nel bagno molte macchie di ruggine.
In fase di prenotazione viene richiesto un deposito cauzionale che ti viene detto che sarà restituito subito dopo il check out, ma in realtà è stato un vero addebito che ci è stato restituito dopo quasi un mese dal check out.
Alcuni problemi sono stati segnalati alla struttura che si è scusata e che per le cose rotte voleva sistemare ma abbiamo detto di no perché non potevamo aspettare nell’appartamento qualcuno che venisse ad effettuare le riparazioni e per il rimborso della cauzione abbiamo dovuto comunque aspettare.
