Honestly, the location is what sold me on this place. You’re literally between Kings Cross and Camden — which means you get the best of both worlds. Kings Cross has transformed into this incredible hub with all the Eurostar connections and that gorgeous new development behind the station, while Camden still holds onto its edgy, market-filled character. London can be overwhelming, but from Oakley Square you can walk to Camden Market in about ten minutes, or hop on the tube at Kings Cross St. Pancras and be anywhere in the city.

What I really appreciated about this four-star setup is how it gives you proper living space rather than just a cramped hotel room. The one-bedroom layout actually works — there’s a separate living area where you can spread out your maps and guidebooks, plus a proper kitchen if you want to grab groceries from the nearby Waitrose. The furnishings feel contemporary but not sterile, and you get decent natural light from those tall Victorian windows.

This apartment is a charming find, just a short walk from Camden Market. It’s cozy, well-equipped, and the Wi-Fi is super fast. The bathroom was clean and modern. The location is fantastic - you’re really well-connected to the rest of London. There is a bit of street noise at times, but honestly, that’s expected in such a lively area. It didn’t bother us much - just part of the Camden vibe!

What could be improved: I was asked to pick up/drop off the apartment key from a location far from the apartment, even though the access was only by access code, so no keys were needed. This was not mentioned in the apartment description! In addition, I was penalized with 50 pounds because I did not have time to leave the key to the drop-off location at the check out and let it on the room. In addition, everyone should know, I was asked for a guarantee of 800 pounds, which was also not mentioned in the apartment description.

Die Wohnung war schön, Betten gut. Schön und praktisch eingerichtet, wenn auch etwas eng. Duschraum/Toilette sehr gut.
What could be improved: Schlüsselübergabe war ein wenig umständlich, da wir unser Gepäck hinschleppen mussten, aber klappte. Ein Transponder diente zur Öffnung der Türen, aber mit den Zahlen klappte es auch.
