1-Bedroom Apartments in Shoreditch, Old Street, Hoxton
First Impressions
Honestly, 1-Bedroom Apartments in Shoreditch, Old Street, Hoxton isn’t trying to be fancy — and that’s exactly what I loved about it. You’re getting a proper apartment right on Old Street, which means you’re basically living like a local in one of London‘s coolest neighborhoods. The building itself is pretty straightforward, but the location more than makes up for any lack of flashy lobby areas.
The Neighborhood Vibe
This three-star spot puts you right in the heart of where Shoreditch, Old Street, and Hoxton all blur together — and I mean that in the best way possible. You’ve got the Roundabout literally on your doorstep, which sounds chaotic but actually makes getting anywhere in London ridiculously easy. What I really appreciated was being able to walk to Brick Lane for proper curry, hit up the vintage shops on Redchurch Street, or grab coffee at one of those tiny places that locals actually go to.
The Apartment Experience
The apartment setup is what sold me on this place — you get a proper one-bedroom with a separate living area and your own kitchen. I mean, after weeks of hotel breakfast buffets, being able to make my own coffee in the morning felt like a small miracle. The room was comfortable enough, nothing spectacular but clean and functional. Having that extra space to spread out made such a difference, especially since the area stays pretty lively until late.
Getting Around
Old Street station is basically right there, which connects you to the Northern and Circle lines — honestly, you can get to most places without too much hassle. What’s nice is you don’t feel stuck in a touristy bubble here. I’d walk out the door and see actual Londoners heading to work, not just people with cameras around their necks. The whole area has this creative energy that’s hard to fake, with street art that changes regularly and little independent businesses tucked into every corner.
Why Guests Love It
Look, this isn’t a place where someone’s going to bring you fresh towels twice a day or remember your name at the front desk. But if you want to actually experience London rather than just visit it, this works brilliantly. You’re paying for the location and the independence — and in this part of town, that’s worth quite a lot. The whole setup feels more like borrowing a friend’s place than staying in typical tourist accommodation, which I guess is either exactly what you want or completely wrong for your trip.
You'll need to let the property know in advance what time you'll arrive.
