The flat itself is surprisingly spacious for London standards — I mean, two bedrooms in Notting Hill isn’t exactly cheap real estate. Each room feels lived-in rather than corporate, which some travelers love and others might find a bit too casual. The kitchen is actually functional (not just a corner with a kettle), so you can save some money by cooking instead of eating out for every meal. You know what struck me most? The windows let in decent natural light, which is rarer than you’d think in London rentals.
Location Reality Check
Great Western Road puts you within walking distance of Portobello Market — but here’s the thing locals know: avoid Saturday mornings unless you enjoy being sardined with tourists. The tube connections are solid though; you’re close enough to Ladbroke Grove station that getting into central London doesn’t feel like a trek. There’s a Tesco Express around the corner, which becomes surprisingly important when you realize how much a bottle of water costs near tourist spots.
The Neighborhood Experience
This three-star spot drops you into actual Notting Hill life rather than a sanitized version of it. You’ll hear the neighbors sometimes — thin walls are just part of the London flat experience. Great flat in a great area! A couple of minutes walk to the tube station and 5-10 minutes walk to Portobello Road. Relatively quiet and very cosy area. Would absolutely recommend to stay here!

"Overal we had a lovely time during carnival weekend. And i would stay again."
The property was clean and the location was perfect.
What could be improved: The listing states that there are toiletries in the apartment so i didn’t pack any. But there was non, and 1 toilet roll for a 2 night stay, which wasn’t ideal. But there was a shop close by where we bought what we needed.
Some windows didn’t open also, and if they did they didn’t stay open. They could have done with a window clean too as they were quite dirty.

Excellently presented 2 bed.. 2nd bedroom is adjacent to living room. Also has generously spacious balcony. Great condition. Well maintained . All you need is toiletries.
What could be improved: Internet was getting upgraded the day I arrived but didnt cause me issues as I had my own travel devices.

Very nice flat in a quiet neighborhood with a great location.
It's got almost everything you might need for a cooking, washing, ironing and so on.
The owner was always in touch, ready to help. It was a pleasure to communicate with him.
We really enjoyed our stay!

"Exceptional"
We loved this flat, it was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. Fantastic host. The location was fantastic, close to the tube, Notting Hill gate and Portobello Road. My family had the best time here and we will definitely come back next time we're in London. Highly recommend.
What could be improved: Nothing, loved it!

"London Trip"
That we were able to check in earlier - beds very comfortable - kitchen nicely arrsnged and very clean
What could be improved: Steps leading in steep luckily my 85 year old mother didn't come - front bedroom very noisy hard to sleep - bathroom window no blind and on main Street didn't feel comfortable having shower- marks on walls - bathroom mirror rusted - plinth on bath rusted needs makeover- towels damp - marks on bedding not up to usual standards

"Dirty, disgusting, false accusations, very bad staff"
Nothing.
What could be improved: The flat was incredibly dirty and we had to leave and look for a hotel since we didn't want to stay in a place like that after seeing what we saw.
The cleaner staff came after 2-3 hours waiting for a refund (which we only got 20%), and then told the owner that we forcefully put her out the flat (we only told her to wait outside till we were out).
There were dirty towels in all closets, the bedding was full of stains and dirt all over, wet bedding in the washing machine, personal belongings like pills, slippers, clothes and lotions in the bathroom and closets. Floor and mattresses with black dirt everywhere. Dishwasher and kitchen cupboards dirty and with food, spilled coffee powder and such...
Sadly I can only add 4 pictures, but please don't risk it with this place and people, go somewhere else.

"Hermoso depto con la mejor ubicación."
Ubicación en Notting Hill, el depto precioso. Al lado del metro. Amplio.
What could be improved: Tenía poco papel higiénico. Pero es solo un detalle. Se podía comprar.
