Overview
First Impressions
Walking up to 2 Bed Flat In Heart Of Kilburn With Full Kitchen London on Buckley Road, you’ll notice it’s tucked away on a quiet residential street — which honestly feels like a small miracle in this part of London. The building itself is one of those classic Victorian conversions that you see all over North London, nothing flashy but solid and welcoming. I mean, when you’re dealing with a four-star apartment rental in Zone 2, you’re really looking for comfort and space over grand lobby theatrics anyway.
The Space That Matters
What actually impressed me about this place is how they’ve managed to fit a proper two-bedroom setup without making everything feel cramped. The main room flows nicely into the living area, and there’s genuinely enough space to spread out your stuff — you know how rare that is in London rentals. The second bedroom works perfectly if you’re traveling with friends or family, though it’s a bit snug for anything more than sleeping and getting dressed.
Kitchen Life
Here’s where this place really shines — the kitchen is actually functional, not just some tiny corner with a mini-fridge and two burners. You’ve got proper counter space, a full-sized fridge, and all the bits you need to cook actual meals. After dealing with London restaurant prices for a few days, being able to grab groceries from the Sainsbury’s down the road and cook at home becomes pretty appealing. The dining area fits four people comfortably, which is perfect for morning coffee or evening wine sessions.
Kilburn Reality
Look, Kilburn isn’t Notting Hill, but that’s actually part of its charm — and definitely part of why you’re getting decent value here. The High Road is a proper multicultural strip with Caribbean bakeries next to Irish pubs next to Lebanese groceries, which gives you a real slice of London life. The Jubilee Line station is maybe a 12-minute walk, so you’re looking at 20 minutes to get into central London, which honestly isn’t bad at all. There’s also the Overground at Kilburn High Road if you’re heading north or west.
Why Guests Love It
What keeps people coming back to this apartment is the combination of space and location that’s hard to find elsewhere in London without paying through the nose. You get two proper bedrooms, a kitchen that works, and you’re still connected to everything that matters in the city. The 7.3 rating makes sense — it’s not going to wow you with designer touches or concierge services, but it delivers exactly what most travelers actually need: a clean, comfortable base where you can live like a local for a few days rather than just crash between tourist activities.

"Convenient, cosy apartment in greater London"
Love that the apartment was in a cute little street close to everything you need including buses trains and amazing places to eat.
What could be improved: The floors are a bit wobbly in the hallway took some getting used to. The beds are very firm but warm. The shower door pops off the runners but easy to pop back on.

"Great"
House was great. Everything was clean and as expected
What could be improved: TV remote didn't work. The host advised he ordered a new onw for future guests.
No key external on kitchen door which was a little unnerving.
Internal kitchen door could not be closed and there were no curtains. Kitchen noticeably cooler because or this, and no sense of privacy. Also let a lot of light in the morning which wasn't great for a sleep in on adjacent bedroom.
Some smoke/ monoxide detectors had the plastic covering on them

"Very good"
The size of the apartment. Convenient location. It is near the bus stop. Bus 98 is only about a 3 mile ride to Marble Arch. The Kilburn tube station is about an 7 minute walk. It is close to shops and restaurants.
What could be improved: The chairs in the dining room need to be replaced. They are very uncomfortable. The apartment was clean, but the dishes had to be rewashed. The wine glasses in the cupboard had lipstick on it.

"Pleasant"
The location of the apartment is very close to bus station and both overground and underground station. Near the apartment you can find pubs, shops and markets really closed. The claning was done properly even if a bit late. Looks like the owner listen to the requests of the guests (new forniture and pots have been provided considering the previous reviews)
What could be improved: The apartment is hight potential but needs a renovation. Dishes and glasses need to be replaced The apartment is very far from looks like as in the pictures provided. Beds old, Towels old and not enought for us. And many othet things.
I thinks would be enough to visit the place and see what is needed. The garden could be a plus if used as a garden and not as it is.

"Zone 2 London home away from home - great for families."
Spacious ground-floor flat with comfortable beds and great location. Price was so reasonable and communication with the owner was quick and easy.
What could be improved: We had some issues with the dryer not working for our seven night stay, but the owner was super attentive and even though it didn't end up getting sorted, he did send round a technician and we got our clothes dried because the central heating system was so easy to use. If you're planning to use the visit as a laundromat maybe check it's fixed, if you're trying to see London for a reasonable price, this is a great spot.

"Poor"
The staff I spoke to were very welcoming and nice. The property was also and the kitchen was in perfect condition
What could be improved: There was no heating and despite repeated calls nobody bothered to address the situation. Also, I rat/ rodent in the housing. The grasses in the yard should be cut down.

"Didn’t have good experience"
The host was polite and responsive whenever we raised issues, which I truly appreciated. It’s walking distance from Kilburn Station, approximately 10-15 minutes.
What could be improved: Unfortunately, the stay was very disappointing. The building itself is old, poorly maintained, and not soundproof. We could clearly hear loud footsteps from upstairs, banging water pipes whenever taps were used, and constant noise from neighbors who were still playing music and talking in their backyard well past midnight. The overall environment didn’t feel safe or comfortable, and the noise levels made it nearly impossible to rest. Sadly, this was not a pleasant stay and I wouldn’t recommend it, unless you don't mind all the issues we encountered. (We kept the accommodation as clean as possible when we checked out).
