Overview

First Impressions

The Beautiful 2-Bed, 2 Bathrooms Flat with AC in Zone 1, – Just Minutes Walk to High Street Kensington, Earls Court, Hyde Park has quite the mouthful of a name, but honestly, it’s pretty accurate. Walking up to this four-star apartment on Marloes Road, you’re immediately struck by how central everything feels — you’re basically in the heart of London without the chaos that usually comes with it. The building itself has that classic Kensington charm, and you know you’ve landed somewhere special when you realize Hyde Park is literally around the corner.

The Space

What really sets this place apart is how well thought-out the layout is. Each room actually feels like it has purpose, not like someone just threw furniture around hoping it would work. The air conditioning — and I mean this — is a godsend during those surprisingly warm London summers that catch everyone off guard. Having two full bathrooms means you’re not doing that awkward dance with whoever you’re traveling with, which is honestly underrated when you’re dealing with jet lag and different morning routines.

Location Perks

Here’s what I love about Marloes Road: you’re close enough to everything that matters, but far enough from the tourist madness to actually relax. High Street Kensington is maybe a five-minute walk, which means you’ve got the tube station right there plus all those shops and cafes when you need them. Earls Court is just as close in the other direction, giving you even more transport options — honestly, having that flexibility makes moving around the city so much easier.

The Hyde Park Factor

But you know what really sells this place? Hyde Park being right there. I mean, you can grab coffee and be sitting by the Serpentine in minutes, or take that early morning jog through the park before the city wakes up. It’s one of those things that sounds small but completely changes how your stay feels — instead of being stuck in urban concrete, you’ve got this massive green space as your backyard. The Kensington Gardens are practically an extension of your living space.

Why Guests Love It

With a 7.9 rating, people clearly appreciate what this place offers, and I get why. It’s that sweet spot between hotel convenience and actual living space — you can cook if you want to, spread out properly, but still have that professional standard of cleanliness and comfort. The neighborhood gives you that authentic London residential feel without sacrificing access to everything you want to see and do. Plus, when you tell people you’re staying in Kensington, there’s just something that sounds right about it.

Perfect location, very clean and nicely furnished, the kitchen and bathroom had everything we needed, easy communication with the host and self check-in, there was no significant street noise when the windows were closed, overall recommended! Thank you for the stay!
What could be improved: We could hear the neighbors above walking, mostly before 10-11pm though. The thermostat didn't always work properly (no vs. too much heating)

Location was near 2 tube stations within walking distance with lots of good restaurants and amenities nearby. Kitchen was well supplied. Host was responsive. Cozy flat.
What could be improved: Scaffolding works outside - drilling and hacking noises right outside our windows started early in the morning and often waking us up earlier than we wanted to. Lift in the flat was not working - Flat is located 1 floor above ground, which was still manageable but bringing large sized luggage up the narrow staircase can be a struggle.

"Very pleasant stay in a nice part of town!"
The location is really in a nice part of London and close to Circle/District/Picadilly line. Circle Line is 8min walk in a lovely residential area and District/ Picadilly line is about 12min walk away. Close to National History museum and Victoria & Albert museum. The host was very helpful to order extra body lotion and washing capsules for us!
What could be improved: The kitchen cabinet may need some repairs but well equipped.

"Conveniently located flat with issues."
The location was convenient to the V&A museum and the tube.
What could be improved: One of the reasons I rented this flat was to be able to cook. Unfortunately, it was only after I bought things that needed to be baked that I discovered that the oven wasn't working. Messages over three days never resulted in getting it fixed so I ended up throwing out all the food. Other than that, it was a decent place to stay, though I wouldn't describe it as particularly beautiful. There was work being done on the outside of the building which was not something that was in the control of the company renting the flat. It was disconcerting, though, that one of our party awoke to find a man at her window. It seems a shame that the property management company doesn't think it's worth spending £100 at IKEA to buy some plates, glasses and flatware that matches, oh and a few decent hangers. It's a small amount to spend but it would make a big impact. They should also fix the kitchen cabinet so that the door hangs properly. I wouldn't return here.

Too location in a very beautiful street and historical building, true experience of London. The flat is comfortable for stay of 3 guests, since it has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.
What could be improved: The noise from the hour during all night, since they came home very late each evening and you can hear each step, we literally woke up every night 🥲 Bathroom can be a little bit renovated and also the cleanness of the apartment can be improved.

"Creaky appartment."
What could be improved: Both beds are creaky. Any move you make - a concert of sounds. The ceiling is creaky for the neighbours walking upstairs.
