Apt 3, Trafalgar Sq Duplex, 3rd & 4th floor by Indigo Flats
First Impressions
Honestly, when I first walked into Apt 3, Trafalgar Sq Duplex, 3rd & 4th floor by Indigo Flats, I wasn’t sure what to expect from a four-star apartment rental in central London. The building sits right on Saint Martin’s Lane, and you know what? The moment you realize you’re literally steps from Trafalgar Square, it hits you — this isn’t just accommodation, it’s like having your own place in the heart of everything.
The Space
This duplex apartment spans two floors, which actually makes it feel more like a proper London flat than a typical hotel room. The layout works brilliantly — you’ve got your living space on one level and the sleeping area upstairs, so it never feels cramped even when you’re spreading out maps and shopping bags everywhere. The kitchen is compact but well-equipped, and I mean, when you’re this close to Borough Market and all those amazing food spots, you’ll probably just grab fresh ingredients and throw together simple meals anyway.
Location Magic
Look, I’ve stayed in various parts of London, and this spot is genuinely special. You’re a two-minute walk from Trafalgar Square — I’m talking about literally popping down for photos with the lions before your morning coffee. Covent Garden is right there, Leicester Square’s around the corner, and the West End theaters are so close you could probably hear the applause on a quiet night. The Tube connections are fantastic too, with Charing Cross and Leicester Square stations both within easy reach.
Neighborhood Feel
What I really appreciated was how this area shifts throughout the day. Mornings are surprisingly calm before the tourist crowds arrive, and you can actually enjoy a peaceful walk through the square. Evenings bring this amazing energy with all the theater-goers heading to shows, street performers setting up, and that classic London buzz that makes you feel like you’re in a movie. The Saint Martin’s Lane location means you’re surrounded by those quintessential red phone boxes and traditional pubs that still serve proper fish and chips.
Why Guests Love It
After spending several days here, I get why this place scores so well with travelers. It’s that perfect balance — you have the independence of your own space but you’re positioned exactly where you want to be for sightseeing. No rushing to catch the last Tube back to some distant hotel, no missing out on late-night West End energy because you’re staying too far out. Plus, having two floors means couples or friends don’t feel like they’re living in each other’s pockets, which honestly makes a big difference on longer stays.
You'll need to let the property know in advance what time you'll arrive.
