Apartment – Stay 6 – Parking – PetsOK – Stratford
First Impressions
Apartment – Stay 6 – Parking – PetsOK – Stratford might have a name that reads like a booking checklist, but honestly, that’s kind of perfect — it tells you exactly what you’re getting. This four-star apartment sits on The Grove in London’s E15, and I’ll admit, Stratford has changed dramatically since the Olympics. What used to be a bit rough around the edges is now this buzzing area with decent transport links and, well, places you’d actually want to stay.
The Space Itself
The apartment feels properly lived-in rather than hotel sterile, which I actually prefer when I’m staying somewhere for more than a couple nights. You get a full kitchen setup — not just a kettle and some instant coffee, but proper cooking facilities if you want to grab groceries from the nearby Westfield. The living area has enough space to spread out, and there’s this sense that you’re staying in someone’s actual home rather than a corporate rental. The furnishing is modern without being flashy, though I mean, it’s not going to win any design awards.
Location & Getting Around
Stratford’s transport situation is honestly brilliant — you’ve got the Central line, Jubilee line, DLR, and Overground all within walking distance. The Westfield shopping center is maybe five minutes away, which sounds touristy but it’s actually handy for groceries and grabbing dinner when you can’t be bothered to cook. The Olympic Park is right there too, and it’s become this massive green space that locals actually use for running and weekend walks.
The Practical Bits
The parking situation deserves a mention because, you know what, finding parking in London is usually a nightmare. Having a dedicated spot means you can actually drive into the city without that constant worry about where you’ll leave your car. And if you’re traveling with pets, they’ve got that sorted — no sneaking around or paying ridiculous pet fees. The whole setup just feels more relaxed than your typical hotel stay.
Why Guests Love It
This place works because it doesn’t try to be something it’s not. You’re not getting marble bathrooms or a concierge, but you are getting a proper base in one of London’s most connected areas. The 8.1 rating makes sense — it delivers on what it promises without any fuss. For families or anyone staying more than a few days, having that kitchen and extra space actually makes a bigger difference than fancy hotel amenities you’ll never use.
You'll need to let the property know in advance what time you'll arrive.
