Anazing Studios 2 – North East London – Chingford
First Impressions
Anazing Studios 2 – North East London – Chingford sits on a quiet residential street in E4, and honestly, that’s exactly what you want when you’re looking for a peaceful base in London. The building itself is unassuming — no fancy facade or doorman — but there’s something refreshing about a three-star place that doesn’t try to be more than it is. You know what I mean? Sometimes you just need a clean, comfortable spot without all the fuss.
The Studios
Each apartment is basically a self-contained unit, which I actually found pretty brilliant for longer stays. The kitchen setup isn’t huge, but it’s got everything you need — proper hob, microwave, fridge that actually keeps things cold. I mean, you’re not going to be hosting dinner parties, but making breakfast or heating up takeaway? Absolutely fine. The room layout makes good use of the space, though you’ll want to keep your luggage organized since storage is a bit limited.
Location & Getting Around
Chingford might sound remote if you don’t know the area, but it’s actually well-connected. The Overground station is about a ten-minute walk, and from there you’re looking at roughly 25 minutes to central London — not bad at all. What I really liked was the neighborhood feel; there’s a proper high street with a Tesco, some decent pubs, and that authentic London suburban vibe you don’t get in Zone 1. Plus, Epping Forest is practically on your doorstep if you fancy some green space.
Practical Matters
The staff are straightforward and helpful without being overly chatty — they’ll sort you out with whatever you need but won’t hover around. Parking can be a bit tricky on the street, though I managed to find spots without too much circling. The building’s pretty quiet overall; I barely heard my neighbors, which was a relief after some of the paper-thin walls I’ve encountered in London accommodations.
Why Guests Love It
Look, this isn’t going to blow your mind with fancy amenities or Instagram-worthy interiors. But for the price point and the practical setup, it actually works really well. The 7.8 rating makes sense — it’s the kind of place that does what it promises without any nasty surprises. If you’re planning to explore London properly and just need somewhere reliable to crash that won’t drain your budget, this ticks the boxes. The kitchen setup alone probably saves you £20-30 a day on breakfast and coffee, which adds up over a week’s stay.
