Amazing River view 2 bedroom apartment, sleeps 6, balcony and parking
First Impressions
The Amazing River view 2 bedroom apartment, sleeps 6, balcony and parking sits right on Mast Quay in Greenwich, and honestly, the location caught me off guard in the best way. You’re literally steps from the Thames, but it doesn’t feel touristy or crowded like some of the central London spots. This four-star property has that perfect balance — close enough to everything you want to see, but tucked away enough that you feel like you’ve discovered something special.
The Space
Walking into this apartment, the first thing that hits you is how much light floods through those big windows. The living area flows naturally into the kitchen space, and I mean, you’ve got everything you need if you want to cook — which honestly saved me a fortune during my stay. The two bedrooms are properly sized too, not like some London places where you’re basically sleeping in a cupboard. What really works here is that six people can actually spread out without tripping over each other.
That Balcony Though
The balcony is where this place really shines. I spent way more time out there than I expected, just watching the river do its thing. You can see the Thames bend around Greenwich, and in the evening — well, let’s just say you’ll understand why people pay extra for water views. It’s not huge, but there’s enough space for a couple of chairs and your morning coffee. Actually, I found myself eating breakfast out there most days because the view beats any fancy hotel dining room.
Location Perks
Here’s what I loved about being in Greenwich — you’re close to the Cutty Sark and the Royal Observatory if you’re into that sort of thing, but you can also just wander along the riverside path for ages. The DLR station is maybe a ten-minute walk, so getting into central London is dead easy. And that parking spot they mention? In London, that’s basically gold. I drove down from Manchester and didn’t have to stress about where to leave the car, which was honestly a relief.
Why It Works for Groups
What struck me most about this place is how well it handles a group. We had four adults and two kids, and everyone had their space when they needed it. The kids loved being able to see the boats from the balcony, and the adults appreciated having a proper kitchen and enough seating. The 9.7 rating makes sense when you stay here — it’s those little details like decent water pressure, reliable WiFi, and enough towels that add up. You know what? Sometimes the best places are the ones that just work without any fuss.
