Amazing 6 bedroom house with free parking on site.
First Impressions
When I first pulled up to Amazing 6 bedroom house with free parking on site. on Norbury Crescent, I’ll be honest — it doesn’t look like your typical hotel at all. This unique boutique hotel without official star rating is actually a converted Victorian house that someone had the brilliant idea to turn into accommodation. The fact that there’s dedicated parking right on the property immediately caught my attention, because anyone who’s tried to park in South London knows that’s basically gold.
The Space and Setup
Inside, you realize this place operates more like a large house-share situation than a traditional hotel. Each room has its own character — some are massive with high ceilings and original period features, while others feel more cozy and tucked away. The communal areas include a decent-sized living room and a shared kitchen that’s actually well-equipped if you’re planning to cook. I mean, it’s not fancy, but it has everything you need including a proper-sized fridge and decent cookware.
Location and Getting Around
Norbury isn’t exactly central London, but that’s honestly part of its charm. You’re looking at about 20 minutes to get into central areas on the train, and Norbury station is a pretty straightforward walk from the house. The neighborhood feels properly residential — tree-lined streets, local pubs, that sort of thing. There’s a Tesco nearby for groceries, and I found a surprisingly good curry house just around the corner that locals clearly frequent.
What Works (and What Doesn’t)
The setup works well if you’re traveling with a group or don’t mind the communal aspect. You get way more space than you’d find in a typical London hotel for the price point. The house has this relaxed, almost homey atmosphere that grows on you. That said, if you’re expecting hotel-style service or daily housekeeping, you’ll be disappointed — this is definitely more of a self-service situation.
Why Guests Love It
What really sells this place is the value and the parking situation. Seriously, free on-site parking in London is rare enough that it’s worth mentioning twice. The space gives you room to spread out, and there’s something nice about having access to a proper kitchen rather than being stuck with expensive room service or restaurant meals every night. It’s particularly good for longer stays when you want to feel a bit more settled rather than just passing through.
You'll need to let the property know in advance what time you'll arrive.
