Overview
First Impressions
Walking up to Alto Apartment – Modern Comfort & Prime Location, you get that “wow, this is actually nice” feeling — the building sits right on Exhibition Way with clean lines and floor-to-ceiling windows that catch the light beautifully. Honestly, I wasn’t expecting much from what I assumed would be another generic apartment hotel, but this four-star property surprised me from the moment I stepped inside.
Location & Getting Around
Here’s the thing about Wembley — everyone thinks it’s just about the stadium, but this spot puts you in the thick of things without the chaos. You’re literally a few minutes’ walk from Wembley Park Station, which means central London is about 20 minutes away on the Metropolitan line. The area’s got that post-Olympic development vibe with wide pavements, decent coffee shops, and — this matters more than you’d think — actual parking if you’re driving in.
The Space Itself
The apartment I stayed in felt properly thought out, not like someone just crammed furniture into a box and called it done. The kitchen actually works — full-sized fridge, proper hob, even a dishwasher that doesn’t sound like it’s about to explode. My room had these massive windows overlooking the development, and the bed was one of those where you sink in just enough without feeling like you’re drowning in foam.
What Makes It Work
You know what I appreciated? The little details that show someone actually stays in these places occasionally. Blackout curtains that properly block out light, USB ports exactly where you need them, and a shower with decent water pressure — basic stuff that so many places get wrong. The building’s got lifts that work quickly, and the whole place feels secure without being fortress-like.
Why Guests Love It
Look, this isn’t the kind of place that’ll blow your mind with fancy amenities or a rooftop bar, but it does exactly what it promises. You get a proper space to spread out, you’re well-connected to everything London has to offer, and you’ll sleep well. For families or anyone staying more than a couple nights, having that kitchen space and the extra room to breathe makes all the difference — I mean, hotel rooms start feeling pretty cramped after day three, don’t they?

"Great location and modern"
Location was amazing, close to Wembley and property was modern just like pictures and very clean.
What could be improved: They had a broken window so we didn't get much sleep with it slamming shut all night from the wind. With how expensive it is, it was a lot of money for a broken sleep. Looking back at the reviews they already knew it was broken but still didn't let us know before arrival or repaired it before.

"Ideal apartment could be better with some tlc. Amazing location🙂"
The balcony and spacious living area
What could be improved: The window in the kitchen wouldn’t close as it was broken so banging in the wind most of the night, marks up the walls, broken sink plugs, no coffee and limited milk, sugar and tea bags.

"I would only recommend it if you have an event in the area, a concert or a show."
The location is excellent if you’re attending an event at Wembley Arena or Stadium—it’s literally a 2-minute walk.
If you want to get to central London, it’s about a 10-minute walk to the station, and it’s generally quite crowded.
We communicated with the host via messages, and they were very kind and responsive.
What could be improved: Cleanliness was disappointing, especially in the bathroom and toilet. The towels weren’t crisp white—they were a bit grey, and didn’t smell fresh. There were lots of hairs of different lengths, clearly not ours, both in the bathroom (on the floor, in the tub) and in the rooms.
Overall, I’m not sure it’s worth £500 per night, especially with no breakfast and no cleaning service during the 4 days we stayed.

"Exceptional"
Stayed at Alto for a concert at Wembley Stadium, location was excellent, 3 minute walk to stadium shops and resteraunts underground all very close, would definately stay there again.
What could be improved: Check in was @ 3pm and check out was 10am the next day, £40 extra for late check out that was at 12pm. Even if check out was 11am would have been lot better than 10am
