Here’s the thing about Barnet — it’s not central London, and you shouldn’t expect it to be. What you get instead is easy access to the Northern line at High Barnet station, which puts you in central London in about 45 minutes. The neighborhood itself has that lived-in feel with local shops, a decent pub or two, and actual residents going about their daily lives. There’s parking available, which anyone who’s tried to drive in London will tell you is worth its weight in gold.

"Great appartment!"
Great flat with excellent facilities. Two lovely comfortable bedrooms, all very tastefully decorated. Beautiful bathroom.
What could be improved: We could have done with a mirror in the bedrooms. Can hear noise from flat upstairs but not bad. Wouldn't put me off staying again.

What could be improved: Poor soundproofing between apartments, could be improved with a few carpets? But the neighbours were quiet so not a problem.

"Very nice experience with pleasant and helpful host."
Place was great with everything you need. Super clean and comfortable.
What could be improved: The door code was quite frustrating finally got in after multiply trials. Not ideal when your trying to check-in, feel tired from your journey plus luggage. Nice and quiet area but no noise insullation indoors so can hear all the noise from the other flats.

"Spacious Apartment with Great Amenities but Some Minor Issues"
The room is spacious with great internet connection and a good-sized TV to entertain our kids. The kitchen is well-equipped and ready for use, which is very nice. The refrigerator and dishwasher are great additions to the stay.
What could be improved: The location is a bit off from the city, but with directions, it is easy to find. Parking can be challenging, as we sometimes had to drive around to find a spot. The ceiling lights flickered most of the time in all rooms, so we had to turn them off. The freezer was overly frozen and not usable, although we didn't need it. The trash bin in front of the house was very smelly, making it unpleasant to walk in and out. Relocating it might help.

The Property, was superb for our needs, as we wanted to travel into Central London using Cockfosters Tube Station where parking is £6 per day Inside the property, each room was excellently finished, extremely clean and very well presented It was spacious I would definitely return to this accomodation as it totally suited our needs and was so well presented
What could be improved: In the neighbourhood, it’s clearly being redeveloped, some adjacent houses clearly needed it in the close

"Perfect, value for money stay for family wanting to staying the Barnett area."
It was really close to where we needed to be, it was VERY clean and comfortable. It’s on a quiet street so no disturbances in the night. There is also another 2 flats in the house and everyone was very respectful this is not a place for wild parties

"A sound place once inside but a little noisy location which needs tidying up a little."
The inside of the property was new and clean. The spaces are well thought out with two large bedrooms making it easy for two couples or less. The bathroom was accessible and services very good with lots of hot water and an excellent shower. Kitchen was well laid out with all the essentials you need for a short break. Windows were excellent allowing for good ventilation on a warm night which is important as there is no aircon. Once inside then, you were in a nice place.
What could be improved: The flats are in a converted 1960's council home on an estate. This means that you are surrounded by other homes on all sides except the front where you have a communal grass space that neighbours park their cars on. Your parking can be some distance from the flat which means carrying kit in some way. Some of the neighbouring houses do not maintain their homes/gardens and it is a little shocking at some of the mess that lies around the flats. Once in, the stairs are narrow and a little steep but if you are mobile (our parent was 90 years old) they are manageable but do not consider these flats if you have mobility issues. The rear aspect faces other gardens and on Saturday night, there was a lot of noise from these neighbours until 0100.
