Overview

First Impressions

A little slice of London is one of those places that makes you feel like you’ve stumbled onto someone’s well-kept secret. Tucked away on Antill Road in Tottenham, this boutique property doesn’t chase after star ratings — honestly, it doesn’t need to. The moment you walk through the door, you get the sense that someone actually cared about creating something different here, not just another cookie-cutter hotel experience.

The Neighborhood Story

Here’s what I love about this spot in London — you’re in a real residential area where locals actually live and work. Tottenham gets overlooked by most tourists, but that’s exactly why it works. You’ve got proper Caribbean food joints within walking distance, the kind of corner shops where the owners remember your name, and Bruce Castle Park is literally around the corner when you need some green space. The Tube connection at Seven Sisters isn’t too far, so getting into central London is totally doable.

What Makes It Special

This isn’t your standard hotel setup, and I mean that in the best way. Each room feels like it was designed by someone who actually travels and knows what you need — not just what looks good in photos. The quirky touches throughout the property give it personality that you just don’t find in chain hotels. There’s this sense that the owners put thought into the small stuff, from the way natural light hits the common areas to the local artwork on the walls.

The Practical Side

Look, with a 7.6 rating, you’re getting solid value without the premium price tag of more central locations. The rooms are clean and comfortable, though don’t expect marble bathrooms or 24-hour room service — that’s not what this place is about. What you do get is character, reasonable rates, and the feeling that you’re staying somewhere that locals would actually recommend to visiting friends. Parking in this part of London is way more manageable than in Zone 1, which honestly makes a huge difference if you’re driving.

Why Guests Love It

The thing about A little slice of London is that it delivers on its name — you really do get an authentic slice of what living in this city feels like, beyond the tourist bubble. It’s not trying to be fancy or impress anyone with marble lobbies and gold fixtures. Instead, it’s comfortable, genuine, and gives you a base to explore London from a different angle. You know what? Sometimes that’s exactly what you need.

"Big House not far from London city"
We like e spaciousness of the house! Big enough for our grp of 8. We can do our laundry n Tesco superstore n seven sister tube station is within walking distance. Host replied promptly n I wont hesitate to rebook this apt for my next visit.
What could be improved: Perhaps install proper lock for all toilets n room doors.

"Great for our one night stay"
It was nice and big, very clean and the host left out some biscuits which was a nice touch. Check in and check out was straightforward with zero issues. Very close to transport links which was great
What could be improved: Showers were a bit small and the door to one of them wouldn’t close but there were 3 bathrooms so it just meant waiting (no big deal). And the front door could do with fixing as it was very stiff but otherwise no complaints. It worked well for our one night stay

"Fantastic house for a family stay - great location - excellent value for money!"
Very friendly host who was easy to contact - we were contacted plenty of time before arrival to give us the code for the key box. Lovely little extra touch of some bottles of water and custard creams was very appreciated! House was clean and very spacious for a large family stay. The location was excellent for a wedding we were attending at Walthamstow Wetlands, and easy to get into central London for some sight seeing - took us about 25 minutes on the tube. We parked at the Tesco superstore just around the corner which cost us £20 for 48 hours. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you for a lovely stay!

"Great."
The house was big and a great place to stay with my friends after attending a festival. The showers were powerful. The house was mostly clean. I would recommend to big groups of people needing somewhere with good links to central london. I would definitely stay again!
What could be improved: The house was clean other than the loose popcorn which was left on top of a cupboard.

"Definitely worthwhile for a group going to a concert at Elizabeth park"
Plenty of room for our group of six. Nice paved outdoor area with table and chairs. Kitchen has everything you would need.
What could be improved: Very small shower/wc rooms and terrible TV reception.

"Clean and easy access"
Clean, easy to locate, and nice stay. The rooms are spacious, and the beds were comfortable. Close to train line and shops are handy.
What could be improved: Some provisions for toiletries would have been nice.

"Great location for the Tottenham stadium and a great base for seeing Queen B!"
Loads of space, multiple bathrooms, great location for the Tottenham stadium. Lovely outdoor patio
What could be improved: The front door wasn’t lined up properly which was a bit odd, but the door did lock.
